Description

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is one of the world’s premier cancer centers, committed to exceptional patient care, leading-edge research, and superb educational programs. The blending of research with patient care is at the heart of everything we do. The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians, and other health care workers.

The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service (MITS) is part of the Department of Radiology at MSK. Our team of physicians, technologists, nurses, physicists, pharmacists, and radiochemists provides a comprehensive clinical service, conducts translational and clinical research, maintains active residency and fellowship programs, and provides institutional research support for a large number of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical trials. We are looking for additional faculty members to join our service, starting in mid to late 2024.

Salary: $350,000-$500,000

Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.

Requirements

Interested candidates should have:

• Excellent clinical skills covering the entire spectrum of nuclear medicine with particular interest in oncologic imaging and radionuclide therapy (theranostics)

• Board certification in nuclear medicine (ABNM)

• Eligibility for New York State license

• Willingness to initiate or participate in clinical and translational research

• Interpersonal skills to collaborate productively within our service and across the institution
