Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our STICU team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Join the region’s only Level I Trauma Center where we provide the highest level of trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care to patients of all ages. Our team of trauma surgeons and advanced practice providers respond to over 2,000 activations annually at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
- In this role you will care for patients in our 12 bed Surgical-trauma ICU alongside attendings, surgical residents medical residents, PAs and NPs. APPs are assigned their own patients once trained.
- Opportunity for procedure training is available. No OR responsibilities.

- This full-time position involves 13-hour shifts, with rotating day and night shifts rotating every 4-5 weeks. There is a weekend and holiday expectation. No call responsibilities.

Qualifications: BE/BC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Compensation:
The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
Salary range: $130,500 – 165,300
