The APP manages the oncologic urgent care population in the outpatient setting and appropriately triages as needed. The APP, who functions primarily in the clinic, may perform some coordination of inpatient care and outpatient follow up after discharge.
The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and ensures safe quality care. Demonstrates an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, & timely and compliant documentation.
Emergency Department/Critical care or urgent treatment experience required.
